2016 London Transplant Trot in memory of Leslie Petter

The Canadian Transplant Association London Representatives invite you to the annual  Transplant Trot in memory of Leslie Petter, at Gibbons Park, London Ontario.

The Canadian Transplant Association is a registered charitable organization, (#131815862RR0001), that promotes organ and tissue donation awareness. More than 4500 Canadian children and adults are on wait lists for an organ transplant across the country.

You are invited to join transplant recipients, donors and donor families, friends, families and supporters, as we celebrate the success of organ and tissue donation in one of London’s largest awareness events! The Transplant Trot is a CTA signature event held in various cities across the country.

Funds from the London 5k Run/Walk will support the Leslie Petter Memorial Award and the CTA. Leslie, an amazing friend, teacher, mentor, athlete and bone marrow transplant recipient, was instrumental in organizing the first Transplant Trot here in London.

RACE TIME: 10:15 am
FEE: Regular fee $25 – Late fee: $30
Fee includes 5k run/walk a t-shirt!
Children 10 and under, accompanied by a registered adult, are free.

Complete an entry form available at the London Running Room,
620 Richmond Street, London, ON N6A 5J9 and include cash, or cheque payable to: Canadian Transplant Association.

FUNDRAISING:
Participants who wish to fundraise for this event can either do so via the Running Room website or download a Transplant Trot Pledge Form and bring their donations with them on event day to the registration booth.

10:15 am Opening Remarks and Run/Walk start

For those not registered as runners or walkers, any donations are welcomed. Bring lawn chairs and any special dietary needs.

Parking: West on Grosvenor off Richmond Street OR west on Victoria off Richmond Street and follow the Gibbon Park signs. Follow the green/white balloons and meet at the Pavilion.

AWARDS, PRIZES, BIG DRAW

AWARDS AND MEDALS will be awarded to the first 3 female and male finishers, in the run and the walk, at the finish line.

DRAW PRIZES:

List of draw results and prizes will be posted during the walk/run.

BIG DRAW:

Will take place at the end of the walk/run – you need to be there to win!
